PHOTOGRAPHY FOR A PURPOSE. PHOTOGRAPHY FOR GOOD.
WHY I SUPPORT
MÉDECINS SANS FRONTIÈRES
I have been fortunate to travel to many parts of the world and to experience some truly remarkable places. Photography has allowed me to capture those experiences and share them with others. But over the years, I have also become increasingly aware of just how fortunate I am.
There are millions of people around the world facing circumstances completely beyond their control — conflict, natural disasters, disease and a lack of access to basic medical care. I wanted my photography to do more than provide beautiful images. I wanted it to have a purpose.
That is why I chose to support MÉDECINS SANS FRONTIÈRES (DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS). I admire MSF because its medical teams go to the places where the need is greatest, often working in extremely difficult and dangerous conditions. They provide medical care to people affected by conflict, disasters, epidemics and humanitarian crises, regardless of who they are or where they come from.

I cannot do what the doctors, nurses and other MSF workers do. But I can use something I love — photography — to help support their work. That is the idea behind Photos for Good.
Every photograph I sell represents a place or moment I have been fortunate to experience. When someone brings one of those images into their home, and part of that purchase helps someone who desperately needs medical care, the photograph takes on a greater meaning.
For me, that is what makes photography worthwhile: beautiful images bringing pleasure to the person who owns them, while helping make a difference to someone else's life. PHOTOGRAPHY FOR A PURPOSE. PHOTOGRAPHY FOR GOOD.
